Position Summary:

Oversees clinical operations of the hotline and ensures fidelity to evidence-informed practices, as well consistency and accountability of the hotline supervisory team.

 

This position has 6-8 direct reports.


Essential Functions:

Clinical Program Management

Implements program strategies to successfully achieve goals and objectives for the program, at the direction of the Director:

  • Provides direct oversight of hotline supervisors, including accountability, professional development, and creating a positive culture
  • Leads Reflective Supervision initiative and ensures it is being consistently applied throughout the program
  • Completes quality review checks of hotline interactions and reports results toward established goals
  • Works with supervisory team to ensure trauma-informed practices are adhered to on the supervisory and counselor teams
  • Collaborate closely with the Hotline Operations Manager to ensure that program activities operate within the policies and procedures of Childhelp
  • Updates clinical policies at the direction of the Director
  • Ensures program activities and contracts comply with all relevant legislation, professional standards, and contractual requirements
  • Collaborates with partner researchers to ensure clinical best practices
  • Reports information to appropriate authorities, when legally bound to do so


Requirements

Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding

  • Master’s degree in counseling, social work, or other related field
  • Minimum of three years’ progressive work experience in clinical supervision
  • Understanding the laws and regulations surrounding physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, child abuse, neglect, and legal reporting requirements
  • Understanding counseling ethical guidelines and boundaries
  • Knowledge of laws and regulations surrounding physical, sexual, and emotional abuse, child abuse, neglect, and legal reporting requirements
  • Knowledgeable of all Hotline referral sources, including the Hotline national resource database
