Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, supervision, and training to assigned supervisory facilities maintenance and trades operations
  • Plan, organize, control, and direct operations and activities in the preventative, scheduled, and responsive maintenance of all SSC led facilities
  • Inspect completed projects for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established requirements and specifications. Assure that related functions align with all applicable laws, codes, ordinances, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of various reports, including the long-range facility plan, five-year construction plan, and scheduled maintenance program
  • Participate in the screening and interview process to hire new employees, recommend transfers, reassignment, and disciplinary action when necessary
  • Develop and maintain annual departmental budgets. Review, monitor, and evaluate budgets and financial data of all areas supervised
  • Maintain open communication and provide clients with flexibility and responsiveness, ensuring their needs are met with agility and professionalism.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum high school diploma or GED required, supplemented with technical school training or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to meet deadlines and make sound decisions in stressful situations
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form
  • Must be able to troubleshoot/fix various problems or issues
  • Must have clean driving record & a valid Non-CDL Class C Driver’s License
