The ORGANIZATION: GK Medical Management is an equal opportunity employer. GK Medical Management is focused exclusively on outpatient imaging centers. While GK is located throughout the Chicagoland area and currently operating 8 imaging facilities, it also extends services as far as Michigan and Texas. GK employs over 100 staff in a range of positions, including technologists, front desk, office managers, IT, accounting, billing, credentialing and marketing. Our team is dedicated to the highest standard of patient care and the success of our business partners.

 

THE ROLE:

 

The Human Resources Manager will lead the routine functions of the Human Resources department as well as enforcing company policies and practices. The HR Manager consults directly with managers and employees by working collaboratively, and in a culturally sensitive and appropriate manner, to embrace our clients core values, mission, and vision, and support staff across their organization. We are looking for a passionate HR Manager to oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes. What is an HR Manager ? To us, an HR Manager is the go-to person for all employee-related issues. This means that your HR manager duties will involve managing activities such as job design, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, training & development and talent management. The job of HR Manager is important to business success. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise employee onboarding experience, Day One Orientations, and conduct 30-, 60-, and 90-day check-ins with new employees.
  • Participate collaboratively 'with the business unit management team, including the areas of recruitment and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Responsible for all HRIS administration.
  • Assist employees with leave of absence requests, special enrollments, and questions about benefit plans.
  • Play a lead role in building a positive workplace culture and high levels of employee engagement
  • Manage HR inbox to ensure all employee correspondence is responded to promptly.
  • Oversee health insurance plans for our client's providers.
  • Manage projects to enhance the HR function creating efficiencies, effective practices and improving compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer off-boarding procedures including conducting exit interviews.
  • Work with an integrated HR team of specialists
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, and employment law.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

SUMMARY OF QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Hiring Specifications:

  • This Position is not remote - it is in person at GK's Morton Grove headquarters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • one to three years of human resource experience.
  • Knowledge of HRIS, payroll systems, office 365 including excel.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent client and employee relations style required to provide a concierge service to our clients. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS systems.
