Primary job role


A senior project manager with 10 or more years of experience in ERP implementation and enterprise client-facing experience would typically have the following role and responsibilities:


• Lead large and complex ERP implementation projects for enterprise clients

• Provide strategic direction and project leadership to cross-functional teams

• Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and deliverables

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the client's senior leadership team


Main duties/responsibilities


• Develop project plans, including a budget, schedule, and resource requirements

• Define project scope and objectives, and ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget

• Monitor and report on project progress, and escalate issues as needed

• Lead cross-functional teams and manage subcontractors, vendors, and partners

• Facilitate communication and collaboration between stakeholders and project team members

• Manage risks and identify potential roadblocks, and develop contingency plans as needed

• Ensure the project complies with quality standards, and review and approve project documentation

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, and provide regular status updates

• Continuously assess and improve project processes and methodologies

• Actively participate in pre-sales and client-acquiring process

• Lead proposal and RFP process with the help of regional leadership and consulting team

• Manage timesheets and ensure the finance team processes invoices, and collection of invoices timely

• Ensure resource utilization is maintained to the agreed level throughout the financial year

• Maintain an agreed level of contribution and profit margins in all assignments



Other responsibilities


• Provide assistance in the hiring cycle for different project and organization roles

• Drive company culture and demonstrate values representing the organization within the team and in front of the client

• Provide input and support to the central PMO team to define, maintain and rollout policies, procedures, tools, techniques, and templates

• Train and onboard staff when and where necessary or as the need arises

• Represent the organization and actively participate in customer initiatives

• Deliver digital transformation projects with number of technical workstreams


Experience


• 10+ year’s experience as a Project Manager with a minimum 3+ years of Program Management experience

• Customer-facing and client-management experience

• Solid experience in managing onshore/offshore teams

• Experience driving enterprise-level systems with multimillion-dollar budgets

• Extensive experience in ERP implementation, with a deep understanding of project management best practices and methodologies

• Strong leadership, mentorship, and team management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and cross-functional teams

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and prioritize tasks effectively

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks

• Knowledge of project budgeting and financial management

• Strong understanding of project management tools, such as MS Project and Jira

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.


Technical knowledge


• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills

• Extensive knowledge of PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile and PMO

• Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to consult, negotiate and influence, and develop a relationship with a key variety of stakeholders

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Microsoft Project, JIRA and CRM systems

• Preferably knowledge of industry-leading ERPs (preferably Infor M3)


Qualifications


• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in information technology

• Project management qualifications in PRINCE2 or PMP

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM)

• Preferable to have ITIL qualifications
