Larson Maddox has partnered with one of the nation's leading providers of healthcare services seeking a Payor/Provider Contracting Counsel to join their team. This is a hybrid role located in Nashville, Tennessee, focusing on providing legal advice regarding managed care payor agreements and pre-litigation claims.


Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience.
  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to, or eligibility for admission to, the Tennessee Bar.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert legal advice on managed care payor agreements, including drafting and regulatory issues.
  • Negotiate terms and conditions of managed care agreements.
  • Analyze and ensure compliance with agreements, fraud and abuse, and anti-trust concerns.
  • Oversee the use of outside counsel and collaborate with various departments on pre-litigation disputes.
  • Engage with Communications, Government Relations, and Ethics and Compliance departments as necessary.
