The Director, Strategy & Operations will play a pivotal role in supporting the Americas, consumer products licensed business. This role carries significant responsibility for understanding, articulating, and executing The Americas strategic goals and initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to the head of the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Senior Vice President of The Americas in facilitating the execution of priorities through coordination, communications, and detailed project management.
  • Set direction and drive creative solutions to ensure business objectives align with the strategic vision in conjunction with the Americas leadership team.
  • Lead operational integrations, activations, solutions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Proactively identify and evaluate strategic, operational, and other opportunities in collaboration with key leaders and stakeholders across DCP, and The Walt Disney Company.
  • Coordinate initiatives and track results to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Drive strategy into action through the long-term planning process with the Americas leadership team and functional partners.
  • Oversee the deployment of select transformational initiatives.
  • Establish processes to unlock greater efficiencies to enable the organization to focus on driving the business.
  • Collaborate on multiple projects at any one time, set and meet deliverable dates, and communicate roadblocks and risks in a timely manner; put in place contingencies for unexpected events.
  • Follow up as needed on strategic opportunities and initiatives to ensure appropriate operationalization and execution.
  • Create a workplace environment that encourages collaboration and innovative/creative thinking.
Job Requirements:

The following experience is required for consideration for this role:

  • 10 years of progressively complex client management experience, with a proven track record of directing teams towards successfully executing strategies and programs.
  • Deep project management/consulting experience.
  • Experience in a matrixed organization working with multiple leadership teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience working with executive-level contributors and stakeholders, including excellent executive-level presentation skills.
  • Experience working in a retail/brand organization.
  • Demonstrated versatility and adaptability to work across a broad variety of functions.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.

Additional Information:

This position is based in Glendale, CA.

The hiring range for this position in Glendale, CA is $182,700 to $245,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
