The Procurement Intelligence Manager will be responsible for leveraging data analytics and market intelligence to drive strategic procurement decisions and optimize procurement processes. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in procurement and data analysis, with a strong ability to transform data into actionable insights that support strategic sourcing, supplier management, and risk mitigation.


Key Responsibilities:


Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect, analyze, and interpret procurement data from internal systems and external sources.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor procurement performance and supplier metrics.


Strategic Sourcing Support:

  • Provide data-driven insights to support strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier selection and contract negotiations.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements through detailed data analysis.


Market Research and Benchmarking:

  • Conduct market research to gather intelligence on industry trends, supplier performance, and competitive pricing.
  • Benchmark procurement performance against industry standards to identify areas for improvement.


Supplier Relationship Management:

  • Analyze supplier performance data to evaluate supplier reliability, quality, and compliance.
  • Support supplier relationship management by providing insights into supplier performance and risk.


Risk Management:

  • Identify and assess procurement-related risks, including supply chain disruptions and geopolitical factors.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate identified risks and enhance procurement resilience.


Process Optimization:

  • Analyze procurement processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
  • Drive initiatives to optimize procurement workflows and enhance operational efficiency.


Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPIM) preferred.
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, data analytics, or a related role, with demonstrated expertise in data analysis and procurement processes.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL). Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) is preferred .
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and data integrity.
  • Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage effectively with stakeholders.
