- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to finalize project designs and specifications.
- Obtain and manage necessary permits and approvals from local authorities, ensuring compliance with regulations and codes.
Budget and Resource Management:
- Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation, tracking, and financial reporting.
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to project specifications.
- Manage subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely and quality delivery of services.
Project Execution:
- Supervise on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed according to plans and specifications.
- Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays and making necessary adjustments to stay on schedule.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations.
Client and Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and present progress reports, including timelines, budgets, and milestones.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Address and resolve any conflicts or challenges that arise during the construction process.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
Project Closeout:
- Oversee the final inspection and ensure all work is completed to satisfaction.
- Manage the completion of all project documentation and closeout procedures.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices for future projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of [X] years of experience in site development project management, preferably with a focus on commercial and residential projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, delivering on time and within budget.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Procore).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
