Project Manager, Product Development

At Crunchi, LLC, we're revolutionizing the beauty industry by setting a new standard for cosmetic and skincare safety. As a Project Manager in our Product Development team, you'll play a pivotal role in driving our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and facilitate the completion of projects from conception to launch, ensuring timely and budget-friendly execution.
  • Define and manage launch schedules to guarantee project completion within set deadlines.
  • Keep our development processes up-to-date and aligned with company governance, ensuring seamless collaboration across teams.
  • Manage internal and external meetings, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Work closely with Contract Manufacturers to minimize risks and maximize efficiency, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Centralize and organize all project documents, from ingredient lists to final testing reports, into a well-structured documentation system.
  • Navigate the approval process for product briefs, both internally and externally, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Coordinate product samples for third-party testing, manage labs, and maintain PAO & Shelf life documentation, ensuring our products meet necessary regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee agency management of OTC Product Listings with the FDA, ensuring our products remain compliant with regulations.
  • Participate in Product Innovation activities, including sample product evaluation, data collection, reporting, and formula revision management, driving innovation and improvement.
  • Coordinate everything from benchmarks to packaging components for stability testing, ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards.
  • Manage third-party labs for product testing, ensuring our quality standards are maintained.
  • Document and coordinate primary and secondary packaging prototypes and initiate artwork briefs, ensuring our products meet the highest visual standards.
  • Oversee internal product sampling, collect and document feedback from testers, driving product improvement and refinement.
  • Create visual project trackers and dashboards to keep everyone informed of progress, ensuring transparency and collaboration.
  • Work seamlessly with Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and other teams to support collaboration across departments for project alignment, driving business success.
  • Regularly maintain the 24-month Product Roadmap with revisions and updates as directed by the Head of Product, ensuring alignment with innovation and company strategy.
  • Assist the Head of Product with research and development projects and special assignments, driving business growth and innovation.
  • Represent the Product Development team at offsite events with our sales force, building relationships and driving business success.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Project Management, or similar field required.
  • 3-5 years project management experience required.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products with a CPG brand.
  • High level of proficiency with project management software (e.g., Monday.com, Asana, MS Project, Jira).
  • Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and Stage Gate (aka phase gate) processes.
  • Ability to manage time constraints and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of end-to-end project management preferred.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a talent for motivating cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent change.
