Wolverine Fire Protection Co. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented fire sprinkler system inspector for Orange County, CA. As an inspector, you will be responsible for performing routine inspections, testing and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings. You will work closely with our clients and team members to ensure compliance with local and state codes and regulations.


Job Duties/Responsibilities for Fire Sprinkler Inspector:

  • Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler systems in commercial, industrial, and residential properties.
  • Ensure all fire sprinkler systems comply with NFPA standards and local codes.
  • Identify and document any deficiencies or violations in fire sprinkler systems.
  • Provide detailed reports of inspection results and recommend necessary corrective actions.
  • Stay current with industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Participate in training and professional development.

Requirements for Fire Sprinkler Inspector:

  • Ability to work on ladders, scaffolding and scissor or articulating lifts.
  • Experience with power tools
  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Good written and oral communication skills with clients, contractors, and local fire authorities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Minimum Qualifications for Fire Sprinkler Inspector:

  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Clean California driving record with ability to maintain a valid license

Preferred Qualifications for Fire Sprinkler Inspector:

  • 3-year minimum field experience with strong background in fire protection systems
  • Working knowledge of Fire Protection System: Wet, Dry, Foam, Deluge, Pre-Action, Standpipe, Fire Hydrants, Special Hazard Systems and Fire Pumps
  • NICET Certification
  • Technical Training or certification in fire protection

Work Location Options for the Fire Sprinkler Inspector:

  • 5 days a week in Brea, CA or jobs site as applicable
