The ISO/AS Quality Manager is responsible for supporting all ISO 9001 and AS 9100 related quality assurance functions within Winter Technologies, LLC (WinTech). Initially, this role will be essential for the successful implementation and certification of ISO 9001 and AS 9100 standards within the organization. The first few months, the ISO/AS Quality Manager will work with a hired external consultant and internal employees to get all documentation aligned for the initial ISO/AS audit. The ISO/AS Quality Manager will actively interact with all departments within WinTech and may interact with regulatory agencies, customers, consultants and vendors as related to the ISO 9001 and AS 9001 Quality Management System’s (QMS) needs.


RESPONSIBILITIES

The ISO/AS Quality Manager will work to establish procedures and quality standards and to monitor these against agreed targets. The ISO/AS Quality Manager must have experience in a manufacturing or distribution facility. This position will provide support for quality issues/concerns encountered and maintain the corporate ISO/AS program. Ability to travel to Wisconsin and Texas facilities occasionally. Specific responsibilities include documenting and retaining records for:


● Quality Policy; Scope of QMS; Management review

● Process Control through Procedures, Work Instructions, & Specifications

● Document control & revisions

● Training & competence

● Risks & Opportunities; Resources needed

● Change management; Non-Conformance; Release of product

● Calibration & maintenance and traceability; Monitoring & measurement of process

● Corrective action; Process improvements

● Customer satisfaction & support; Post-delivery activity

● Customer communication of product requirement

● Internal audit; External/Customer audit(s); Supplier Quality management

● Product identification & traceability

● Maintain open and clear communication with QA Manager regarding revisions, updates, changes, non-conformance, or any other process related activities that may affect regulatory requirements.

● Completion of customer document requests associated with the ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS.

● Facilitate ISO 9001/AS9100 quality-related investigations.

● Lead investigations of customer complaints regarding quality.

● Schedule and lead audits for ISO 9001/AS9100 QMS (internal, external, customer).

● Other responsibilities as assigned


IDEAL CANDIDATE

● Bachelor’s degree or above

● Experience in an ISO 9001 environment

● Experience in an AS9100 or aerospace environment

● Self-starter who works with minimal supervision

● Innovative/creative

● Flexible/ adaptable

● Observes safety and security procedures
