Our client is located in Leland, NC and is the subsidiary of a larger Austrian company. The company is one of the leading suppliers of engineered power cables. As the market leader, our client provides its equipment into a variety of industries such as medical, IT, and industrial.


Job description

For continued growth in the US, our client is looking for a highly motivated Technical Sales Representative with a background in business to business sales, including large international customers. In this position you will have the opportunity to utilize your technical sales talent and sell state-of-the-art machinery components into a variety of industries.

Your passion for sales will be crucial to your success. With a comprehensive onboarding program in the USA and Austria, you will supplement your knowledge about all aspects of these electrical components. Equipped with this knowledge, you will provide customers with customized solutions.

The position will report directly to the National Sales Manager and has the option to work remote or from the US headquarters in Leland, NC.



Key responsibilities

  • Increasing revenue by acquiring new customers and maintaining existing client base
  • Analyzing and identifying customer potential and market trends
  • Visiting partners and clients
  • Attending trainings or sales meetings in Austria
  • Attending national and international trade shows as required



Candidate profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred OR equivalent professional work experience
  • Experience selling power cords, wires, or electronic components is a plus
  • Strong consultative sales approach
  • Customer-oriented and strong at building lasting relationship
  • Independent self-starter with a hunter mentality
  • Culturally open minded
  • Willing to travel domestically and internationally
