Peterson’s, a Denver-based EdTech SaaS and publisher is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for our Data division (). Peterson’s Data works with companies that use higher education data to help power college search engines and supply products for learners, financial institutions, and research-focused groups. 


This role will focus on generating new business opportunities for our data team by identifying, contacting, and qualifying potential customers. It will also work to renew and maintain current client relationships.  


Responsibilities:

  • Build and manage a sales funnel by reaching out to leads, finding new opportunities, and growing the sales process. 
  • Drive conversations with leads to a positive sales outcome, which will be scheduling a sales call, working on client renewals, and growing into an account executive.
  • Market research to understand new market opportunities.


Qualifications:


  • Driven by the excitement of reaching and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Very comfortable on the phone with good written skills


Requirements:

  • College Graduate
  • Comfortable with cold calling and cold outreach
  • Willing to be aggressive and experimental
  • This part-time position is in-office 3 days/week.
