Summary:

We are seeking a Finance Support/ Marketing Coordinator to manage our purchase order & budget process. As an integral member of the marketing department, the marketing coordinator will also work extremely closely with finance, accounting, and brand management as a key partner in delivering outcomes. The marketing coordinator will also assist the marketing and brand management departments with initiatives and programs. This role is a great opportunity for someone starting their career and wants to dive into both finance and marketing departments.


ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead in all procurement activity for the Marketing and Brand Team. Manage fully the PR/PO process for all SOWs. Work closely with the Accounts Payable, Trade Marketing and Receiving departments to ensure timely payment and vendor upkeep.
  • Manage and develop strong collaborative with partners across the organization and work closely with cross functional teams including the Marketing, Brand, Accounting, Finance and Sales to ensure consistent communication and execution of strategy.
  • Responsible for monthly update and maintenance of the marketing reconciliation and quarterly expenditures for the Brand/Marketing team to ensure annual expediter goals.
  • Responsible for yearly advertising summary submission to auditors and monthly HQ brand rebills.
  • Liaison with Accounting and Finance for monthly close (e.g., Analysis and preparation of the accurate monthly rebills file to the Parent Company)
  • Supports brand audits as they occur
  • Work closely with the Finance team in IO creation, system budget management, budget reforecasting and reallocations on SAP.
  • Budget: file creation, collection of spend from teams, maintenance, monthly reconciliation, analysis of the discrepancies between budget and actual figures
  • Tracking of the Marketing & Advertising expenses and analysis of the budget allocation to the proper IOs, GL accounts, etc.
  • Accurately prepare, maintain, and track retail customer chargeback program.
  • Aide the Marketing and Brand Teams in ordering samples and marketing materials from the warehouse. Perform Triangulation for all FOC items and monthly free frame reporting.
  • Effectively communicate analytical results to non-technical team members.


EDUCATION, REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, communications, or a related field
  • 1 years of experience in finance and/ or marketing
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills is a MUST
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Innovative thinking, and strong ability to adapt to new environments
  • Knowledge in SAP is a plus.
