Location – Tampa, FL

Duration: Contract


Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web-based applications.

2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and business analysts/product managers to understand application requirements and create corresponding automated test strategies.

3. Execute automated test cases and analyze the results to identify defects and ensure the quality of the application.

4. Integrate automated tests with the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.

5. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to improve the quality and efficiency of the automation scripts.

6. Identify, document, and track defects in the issue tracking system.

7. Continuously research and implement new testing tools and strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.

8. Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other team meetings to provide testing input and status updates.


Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field.

2. Proven experience as an Automation Test Engineer or similar role.

3. Proficiency in programming language such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.

4. Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Junit, or similar.

5. Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.

6. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

7. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
