Position Overview:

Job Title: Specialist - Quality Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, design, and sustain automated testing scripts for web applications.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA professionals, and product managers, to comprehend application requirements and formulate corresponding automated testing strategies.
  • Run automated test cases and evaluate outcomes to detect defects and ensure application quality.
  • Incorporate automated tests within the continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) framework.
  • Conduct code reviews and offer insights to enhance the quality and efficiency of automation scripts.
  • Identify, document, and monitor defects within the issue tracking system.
  • Continuously explore and implement innovative testing tools and methodologies to boost the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and other team meetings to provide testing insights and updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience as an Automation Test Engineer or in a comparable role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with automation frameworks like Selenium, Junit, or similar tools.
  • Strong grasp of software development and quality assurance methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic, agile development environment.
