Global Law Firm specializing in corporate and employment litigation services

Description

• Maintain cleanliness of all areas of office Facilities on a daily basis including bathrooms and pantries.

• Walk floors after Y corridors, monitor conditions of carpet, walls, lighting and other maintenance related areas. Report findings to supervisor.

• Complete in-house moves and other projects as scheduled.

• Complete facilities requests.

• Perform light carpentry tasks such as the assembly/disassembly of shelving units, countertops, file cabinets, furniture systems and other related items.

• Work closely with members of the Facilities department and staff from other service departments.

• Distribute and move boxes as requested.

• Clean and set-up offices for moves and visiting attorney usage.

• Work periodic overtime and weekends as needed for special functions.

• Check and empty recycling bins as necessary.

• Set up conference center rooms as necessary for daily and special events.

Profile

• At least 3+ years of prior facilities or maintenance experience required.

• Handles the physical demands of the job, including standing, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing and lifting at least 50 pounds

• Individual must be flexible and work well under pressure.

• Strong customer service and communication skills required.

• High School diploma required or equivalent work experience.

• Understands and applies current information, technology, resources, methods and procedures necessary to perform assigned work.

• Accepts responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work; acknowledges and corrects mistakes; does not make excuses for errors or problems. Understands that their individual performance directly affects business results.

• Analyzes problems, develops effective solutions and understands implications of solutions. Makes appropriate and timely decisions.

• Communicates clearly and concisely in written / verbal communications. Proactively communicates to facilitate workflow, teamwork and efficiency. Chooses appropriate communication tools and utilizes technology to facilitate communications.

• Demonstrates knowledge of, and adheres to, Firm policies and procedures; effectively manages PTO and punctuality and insures that MyTime and DTE entries (where applicable) are accurate and made on a timely basis.

Job Offer

• Start early December in temp/contract capacity - role will be about 6 months contract with the opportunity to be considered for a full time position

• Annual Salary equivalent starting around $60,000 USD annually - flexible based on relevant experience

• Health Care benefits available on Day 1 of employment via Aetna

• Commuter benefits available

• Role is 5 days/week on-site (Monday - Friday) targeting about 10 AM to 6 PM working hours with some flex

• Role is OT Eligible
