Knowledge and understanding of soil erosion and sediment control, stormwater modeling, permitting, pavement design and specifications, as well as knowledge and understanding of electrical substation and transmission line components and their functions

Job Description

A client in the utilities engineering space is looking for a Site Civil Engineer that will provide design services for support of projects that involve substation engineering and transmission line engineering in high voltage electrical facilities. This person should be familiar with site design, grading, drainage, earthwork and adhere to utility engineering standards. This person will also be using engineering application software like AutoCAD and Bentley MicroStation on a daily basis to do their design work. This person will be working with the transmission line engineers and substation engineers to execute project designs.
