Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to customers, addressing inquiries, and assisting with billing-related questions.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information.
- Navigate electronic health records (EHR) and other healthcare systems efficiently.
- Assist customers in understanding insurance coverage and processing claims.
- Resolve customer concerns and issues, ensuring a positive patient experience.
- Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and healthcare software.
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree or higher is a plus).
- Experience in medical billing or healthcare administration is advantageous.
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
- Positive and empathetic attitude towards patients.
