Job Type: Full-Time

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Project Site Manager to oversee the construction of a new chemical manufacturing plant in the City of Liberty, Greater Houston Area. The successful candidate will manage on-site operations to ensure the project is completed on time, within budget, and in full compliance with safety and regulatory standards.


Key Responsibilities:


Site Management:

  • Oversee daily construction activities, including site clearing, grading, and utility installation.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety protocols.

Project Coordination:

  • Collaborate with consultants, engineers, and architects to resolve design and construction issues.
  • Coordinate with utility providers for the installation of water, electricity, gas, and sewage systems.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with all permits and approvals.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Monitor project budgets and control costs.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including financial updates.
  • Manage site logistics, including the allocation of equipment and personnel.

Quality Assurance:

  • Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections.
  • Ensure all construction activities meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Address and resolve any quality issues promptly.

Documentation and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including site logs, inspection reports, and safety records.
  • Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Archive all project documentation upon completion.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience in construction management, particularly with industrial or chemical plant projects.
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • PMP certification is a plus.
