Role Summary
The Greensboro, North Carolina Battery Plant is seeking a dedicated and motivated General Stores and Direct Materials Analyst. This role is pivotal in supporting the Supply Chain Manager and ensuring that production control objectives related to safety, quality, cost, and productivity are met throughout the production process.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor direct raw materials daily, adjusting orders and deliveries to maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Revise inventory targets and delivery requirements based on monthly production adjustments.
- Oversee critical expedites for TBMNC.
- Manage the General Stores SAP System for direct raw materials and chemicals.
- Facilitate the setup of new materials for direct raw materials and chemicals, assessing the criticality of requested materials.
- Oversee the Material Correction Sheet (MCS) process for part changes and discrepancies.
- Ensure the condition of General Stores inventory by establishing kanban cycles and conducting audits for accuracy.
- Generate and analyze various data reports, including KPIs, order receiving, stock outs, exceptions, and past due reports.
- Lead cross-functional teams to optimize part usage and eliminate obsolete inventory.
- Serve as a resource for hazmat shipping inquiries within the plant.
- Support General Stores operations by monitoring processes.
Qualifications
- Experience in Plant Engineering or Product Control.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Strong communication and visualization skills.
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives.
- Experience with Hoshin execution.
- Technical problem-solving skills (PDCA, RC/CM, TBP).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in Battery Manufacturing.
- Familiarity with 3 Pillar management and execution.
