This candidate will have experience managing all aspects of large project budgets including forecasting, resourcing, actuals, billing, etc.

Experience of the right candidate:
- 5-8 years of experience in Project Management.
- 3+ years of recent experience working with IT software engineering teams.
- Experience with IT software development projects, used to dealing with technical resources.
- Experience managing a $2M-$5M portfolio: Forecasting, budgeting, resourcing, actuals, billing, etc.
- Confident self-starter that is highly technical.
- Nice to Have:
- Experience working with IT Financial groups.
- Business intelligence experience (PowerBI, Tableau, Qlik, Domo)
Responsibilities:
- Project #1:
- Supporting a modernization effort.
- This project is ongoing and has about 12-18 months left until completion.
- Application that has a lot of spreadsheets and financials that optimizes business decisions that support the parks.
- Mostly used by business teams.
- Project #2:
- The other project is Longview rewrite for domestic market, used by IT finance group, very high-profile financial tool.
- It needs an uplift.
- Using one PM to fill both needs
- Overall:
- IT software development projects, dealing with technical resources.
- Business UAT and testing, some database work, diverse set of team members they will be working with.
- Ongoing so this person won’t be starting from scratch.
- Experienced working with IT finance teams.
- Homegrown tool they are using.
- They will be managing the budgets for this. Forecasting, etc. Manage the actuals.
- Ideal budget sizes 2-5million projects.
- This person will need to be detail oriented since they will be working with financial folks - able to provide technical translations to them.
- Report out on status reports and budgeting
- Clarity PPM tool - will be responsible for adding the resource and forecast, financial controller might be assigned·
