Our client is a Catholic Church seeking a Data Entry candidate for their Account's Payable department. In this posiiton you will be responsible for inputting and processing Accounts Payable for all departments, trusts, funds, and corporations.

Responsibilities:

  • Input check requests and invoices into the system
  • Ensure all check requests are approved by the appropriate staff based on approval and management
  • Research outstanding amounts when vendor statements are received
  • Compile and mail all signed checks
  • Maintain schedule of utilities and make sure they are paid on time and report any unusual trends
  • Maintain schedule of reoccurring check requests and ensure that appropriate approvals are obtained and the amounts are updated annually
  • Maintain AP files and pull down documentation as requested by management

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A High School Diploma is required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task and be flexible to work task as needed at any given moment
  • Must be capable to research information and make appropriate recommendations
  • Must be proficient in MS Office; MS Word and PowerPoint, and financial reporting systems
  • Possesses working knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping skills
  • Must be organized with an eye for detail
  • Must have excellent communication skills; both verbally and written
  • Have the ability to train and instruct others
  • Must be capable to work with minimal supervision

Pay: $18-$19.50/ per hour

Hours 8am-5pm M-F
