Role Overview
Our client seeks a Project Developer to provide due diligence & pre-construction support, ranging from interconnection to permitting to project finance. The successful candidate will have experience in community solar project development in the Northeast.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide C&I & community solar project development support
- Work cohesively with internal & third party experts
- Collaborate with local entities & manage permitting processes
- Oversee project compliance initiatives
- Manage projects through to completion
- Ensure projects are completed on time & on budget
- Provide support on real estate-related matters such as title
- Develop & maintain relationships with project stakeholders
- Create & share reports on project statuses
- Spearhead community solar programs & applications
- Assess prospective projects & perform due diligence
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- Experience in community solar
- Knowledge of real estate rights & entitlements
- Project management experience within cleantech
- Highly self-motivated
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to multitask
