We're seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our EE team. In this role, you will be integral to the design, manufacturing, and testing of our avionics and electronics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Lifecycle Management: Take full ownership of multiple electronic assemblies from concept to production. Create schematic captures using Altium Designer and review PCB layouts, adhering to industry standards.
  • Testing and Validation: Develop efficient production testing solutions for electronic assemblies. Design and conduct validation testing for electronics and sensors.
  • Failure Analysis and Improvement: Analyze electronics and components for failures in manufacturing and operations. Perform root cause analysis and implement fixes to enhance yield, performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
  • Innovation and Iteration: Iterate on existing designs and develop innovative solutions to new problems. Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and product validation activities to ensure compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in board design.
  • Proficient in PCB layout and schematic capture using Altium Designer (Cadence experience considered).
  • Strong knowledge of SPI, UART, and CAN protocols.
  • Experience taking at least one product through the entire design process independently.
  • Deep understanding of analog and digital circuit design concepts.
  • Skilled at troubleshooting circuits with appropriate lab tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with firmware (C/C++) debugging tools and processes in embedded systems.

Education:

  • Undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Industry Experience: Experience in the automotive or aerospace industry.
