Position Overview
 JOB DESCRIPTION
The Corporate Direct Project Specialist will be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of the corporate direct sales process. Must have excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships, process and resolve customer support issues, along with exemplary decision-making skills to proactively solve problems. This role involves using independent judgement with limited guidance or supervision. The Corporate Direct Project Specialist is a key contact and support for Corporate Direct accounts.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
  • Manage and execute corporate direct accounts, ensuring all aspects of the account are handled efficiently and effectively to ensure short-term and long-term success.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate direct accounts, acting as the primary point of contact.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction and streamline operations.
  • Work closely with customers to understand their needs and tailor solutions accordingly.
  • Collaborate with internal teams; marketing, customer service, logistics, to ensure seamless quoting, ordering, and delivery processes.
  • Facilitate communication between customers and internal teams to resolve issues promptly.
  • Responsible for identifying and coordinating necessary training to assigned accounts to enhance their capability to promote the Pella brand effectively and successfully present Pella product features and benefits to their customers.
  • Manages samples, displays and sales tools needed by Corporate Direct accounts and their sales teams.
  • Travel of up to 25% may be required.

Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university, 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Competencies:
  • Individual must be professional and goal-orientated with demonstrated successful sales experience and business acumen.
  • Must be a self-starter and work with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills are required.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment with cross functional members.
  • Strong negotiation skills are required.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Strong speaking skills
  • Strategic thinking will be a core component of this role.
Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of executives, managers, clients, customers and the general public.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft® Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software applications. Will be expected to develop proficiency in Pella proprietary software (i.e. PQM, POETS, OMS, etc.).

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
