Position Overview

Our team is currently looking for a Tank Planner/Scheduler in the Oil and Gas industry for one of our clients.


Tank Maintenance Planners are tasked with the comprehensive management of project timelines, resource allocation, and scheduling sequence of critical milestones and project deliverables-directly working with maintenance scheduler. They must analyze and foresee potential obstacles and devise proactive strategies to mitigate risks and delays.


Overall, the role of a Planner in the "Tank Maintenance" group is essential for aligning project outcomes with business goals, ensuring that all operational facets are sequenced and synchronized for optimal performance and efficiency.


Responsibilities & Essential Duties

  • Develop detailed, realistic plan and sequence for the tank maintenance SOW, manage schedule delivery, site access, availability of materials and procurement including resources allocation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Monitoring project progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Providing regular updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.
  • Track projects milestones and delays it a daily tracker
  • Conducting detailed analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential delays and cost overruns.
  • Facilitating team meetings and coordination efforts to ensure coherence and adherence to the project’s strategic direction.
  • Evaluating the project’s success post-completion to identify lessons learned and areas of improvement for future projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
