About the Company: Large commercial concrete contractor in the Philadelphia area is looking for a Project Manager to join their Wilmington, DE office.
Responsibilities: As project manager for the company you would be responsible for the following:
- Purchasing of project materials such as but not limited to concrete supplier, reinforcing steel supplier, and supplier of all miscellaneous material.
- Prepare submittal schedule for product literature.
- Reviewing contract drawings and specifications to make product submittals to the project architect/engineer for approval.
- Coordinate with the rebar detailer to establish a reinforcing steel shop drawing submittal schedule.
- Monitor product / shop drawing submittal schedules to expedite approval of products and shop drawings.
- Review drawing updates for changes and track / submit all changes for construction and pricing.
- Attend weekly project meetings onsite with General Contractor/ Construction Manager.
- Work with General Contractor / Construction Manager in obtaining job pertinent information.
Qualifications: The Project Engineer / Manager position requires prior computer knowledge and skill. Training will be provided for company specific systems and operations. We are looking for a team leader that is self-motivated and is looking for a rewarding career in a family run business. Great compensation. Excellent career opportunity and upward mobility for the right person.
Pay range and compensation package: $80,000 to $100,000
