We are seeking a Senior IAM Engineer to lead and manage the Identity Management functions, covering provisioning, federation, access reviews, authentication, and access management for both cloud and on-premise solutions. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to enhance and support IAM tools and services, including SSO, MFA, and PAM, to establish a cohesive IAM strategy that supports business growth. The position also entails collaborating with customers, IT teams, and service providers to process security requests, improve service delivery, and ensure compliance.


Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead the integration, delivery, and support of IAM, SSO, MFA, and PAM solutions.
  • Serve as project lead for IAM projects, from design to post-implementation.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and enforce access control policies, including RBAC, least privilege principle, and SoD.
  • Collaborate with business and application owners to identify security requirements and integrate access solutions.
  • Manage IAM service delivery, including handling requests, incidents, root cause analysis, problem, and change management in line with ITSM policies.
  • Standardize IAM processes across the organization and document use standards.
  • Develop automation for user onboarding, offboarding, role changes, account certification, and compliance with security policies.
  • Work with IT, security, and compliance teams to align IAM with business goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve IAM-related technical issues.
  • Provide post-implementation support and regular maintenance, including off-hours, weekend, and on-call support.
  • Mentor team members in security practices.


Minimum Education and Experience:

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field, or an additional four years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience:
  • At least 8 years in IT, with a minimum of 6 years in IAM.
  • Expertise in IAM technologies (e.g., Ping, Okta, Saviynt, Beyond Trust, Sailpoint, CyberArk).
  • Experience with SAP systems and IDM integrations.
  • Extensive knowledge of SSO, MFA, PAM implementations.
  • Proficiency in IDM workflows, including scripting and provisioning.
  • Experience with identity governance, RBAC, access request and certification, and user lifecycle management.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, SAML 2.0, OIDC, WebAuth, MFA mechanisms, and related technologies.
  • Experience with custom integrations using third-party tools.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as PowerShell, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Experience with APIs, SQL queries, and LDAP integrations.
  • Strong communication skills for conveying complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with Cloud Services, IoT, and mobile workforce use cases.


Preferred Industry Certifications:

  • CISSP, CIAM, CIMP, CompTIA Security+, SANS GIAC Security Essentials, Cloud Certification (AWS, GCP, Azure)


Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily a sedentary role with occasional need to move light equipment or supplies.
  • Work is in an office environment with open-partitioned cubicles.
  • May require accessing files, supplies, and equipment.
