Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Project Manager to support our government contract operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT/Tech project management, excellent organizational skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects within the public sector.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, initiation, and execution of IT projects, ensuring alignment with contract requirements and client expectations.
• Stakeholder Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with government clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
• Scope and Budget Management: Define project scope, develop detailed project plans, and manage budgets to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project delivery.
• Team Leadership: Oversee and guide project teams, providing direction, support, and motivation to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client standards.
• Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and present regular project status reports, ensuring accurate and timely documentation of all project activities.
Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the IT services and/or Tech industry supporting government contracts.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or similar.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive project success.
