Responsibilities:


  • Support front-office bankers by performing credit risk analysis and financial due diligence for new and existing project finance transactions with a particular focus on energy and renewable infrastructure transactions
  • Analyze transaction credit from inception to approval and produce independent written credit opinions
  • Evaluate transaction risk and report any credit discrepancies or deterioration to senior management
  • Conduct site visits and participate in credit committee meetings
  • Perform industry and market trend analysis and advise the business on findings
  • Provide transparent credit opinions to senior management
  • Confirm that transactions are in compliance with the bank's risk appetite and consistent with financing guidelines
  • Confirm that transactions are in compliance with external regulations
  • Utilize internal systems to maintain transaction data


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of project / infrastructure finance credit risk analysis
  • Formal credit training or bank credit training strongly preferred
  • Experience with energy and/or renewable energy infrastructure preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial statements and perform cash flow modeling
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Highly motivated and outgoing with a high level of intellectual curiosity
  • Advanced communication, interpersonal, presentation and business writing skills
