About The Complex Plaintiff Litigation Attorney Position

Our client is seeking an associate in law school class years 2015-2020. The firm is a nationally renowned civil litigation law firm headquartered with offices in Pasadena, New York and other locations. The caseload consists of multiple high-profile cases in both state and federal courts across the country.

The firm specializes in high-profile cases in consumer class actions and other large complex civil cases including international aviation and automotive litigation, catastrophic personal injury and more. Several of the cases are covered by the national and international press and are often considered cutting edge and at the forefront of civil litigation.

With a reputation for excellence, the team manages complex litigation matters with a commitment to high-quality work and principled practice.

Key Responsibilities of Litigation Attorney

  • Case Management: Oversee and manage high-profile commercial litigation cases from inception to resolution.
  • Research and Writing: Conduct thorough legal research and draft compelling motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Depositions and Discovery: Handle depositions and manage all aspects of discovery.
  • Client Interaction: Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and strategic advice.
  • Federal and State Litigation: Handle both federal and state court cases, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.


Qualifications of Litigation Attorney:

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience at a peer firm handling high profile complex litigation (plaintiff and defense litigation).
  • Prior experience: 3+ years stable work history
  • Education: JD with strong academic record is required; Admission to California State Bar.

Preferred Background: Preference for those with a 2-year clerkship.
