Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $140,000.00 and $180,000. Actual offers may vary based on factors such as experience, education, and market data. In addition to competitive pay, we provide a range of benefits that align with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in litigation and handle cases involving FMLA, ADA, discrimination, retaliation, wrongful discharge, and wage and hour law violations. Experience in depositions, motion arguments, arbitration, and trial preparation is essential.
  • Draft initial litigation documents, including administrative discrimination charges and court filings, ensuring they present relevant facts persuasively.
  • Participate in depositions and draft correspondence related to discovery issues and trial preparation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research.
  • Communicate effectively with external parties, including attorneys, employers, and administrative agencies.
  • Collaborate with fellow attorneys and support staff as necessary.
  • Maintain open communication with clients, providing updates on case progress.
  • Manage all aspects of cases, ensuring deadlines are met and maintaining organization in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Juris Doctor (JD) required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant legal experience, with substantial experience in litigating and managing complex cases. Prior experience in wrongful termination and discrimination is preferred.
  • Expertise in Employment Law.
  • Litigation Skills: Proficiency in all stages of the litigation process, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and arguing in court.
  • Communication: Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial for effective client representation and negotiation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
