Position: Senior Portfolio Analyst


Overview:

The firm is a full-service wealth management firm. They are currently seeking a quantitative, organized, detail-oriented individual who is highly motivated and enthusiastic about working with wealth management clients and their portfolios. The position includes a variety of research, trading, administrative, and client service responsibilities to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the team.


--> Experience in an RIA firm (Wealth Management) is required.

--> Experience with Ensemble Financial planning.


Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of the team’s investment philosophy and process.
  • Execute the firm’s investment research, analysis, and due diligence processes.
  • Assist in overseeing portfolio construction and rebalancing.
  • Monitor market trends and economic data to inform partners and support investment decisions.
  • Support and supervise trading operations and junior research analysts.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for routine client reviews.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, both verbally and in writing, to explain investment strategies and address their questions and concerns.
  • Act as a strong team player and effectively communicate in all directions with leadership and colleagues.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field (CFA a plus).
  • 4-7 years of experience with an RIA firm (wealth management) is a MUST.
  • Experience supervising others.
  • Strong understanding of investment vehicles, asset allocation, and modern portfolio theory.
  • Experience with fixed income portfolios a plus.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling and portfolio management software (ex: Bloomberg).
  • Blaze Portfolio and Black Diamond software experience is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to build rapport and develop trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Expert level skill with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
