Job Title : GCP Architect

Locations:. Hybrid - Onsite in Ashburn, VA Tuesday through Thursday


Job Description:

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Senior Architect & GCP Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in cloud architecture, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and development engineering. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects, drive innovation, and make a significant impact on our clients' cloud strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and architect robust cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) tailored to client requirements.
  • Develop, deploy, and manage scalable and secure GCP environments.
  • Create and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses using GCP services such as BigQuery, DataFlow, and Pub/Sub.
  • Implement and manage machine learning models and data analytics solutions using GCP AI and ML tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and enforce best practices for cloud architecture, security, and governance.
  • Conduct performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization of GCP resources.
  • Architect, build, and productionize ML pipelines using KubeFlow, TFX, DataFlow, and Airflow.
  • Develop GenAI/LLM solutions for clients, including Gen AI Studio and Model Garden on GCP.
  • Lead clients through their cloud digital transformation journey, including data migration and process optimization.
  • Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions using Anthos and third-party tools for security management and monitoring.
  • Build and maintain data engineering pipelines with GCP Composer, DataFlow, and DataFusion.
  • Set up CI/CD processes to streamline development, staging, and production workflows.
  • Deploy machine learning models and set up evaluation and tuning modules.
  • Monitor performance metrics and logs in GCP Cloud Operations, integrating with tools like Splunk.
  • Implement Google best practices for security, network, data, and infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP features, tools, and industry trends.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in cloud architecture and development engineering, with a strong focus on GCP.
  • Certifications:
  • Google Cloud Professional Architect
  • Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer
  • Other relevant GCP certifications are a plus
  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Technical Skills:
  • Cloud Services: Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS (preferred)
  • Data Engineering: BigQuery, DataFlow, Pub/Sub, DataPrep, DataFusion, BigTable
  • AI/Machine Learning: TensorFlow, KubeFlow, AutoML, BigQuery ML, AI Platform
  • Programming Languages: Python, Java, Go, SQL
  • DevOps Tools: Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, Kubernetes, Docker
  • CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Cloud Build
  • Monitoring & Logging: Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring
