Job Description

  • Calling on multiple customer / store locations to provide targeted support for Taylor Farms manufactured product in Deli and Produce departments within a respective region.
  • Take direction from Taylor Farms Fresh Kitchen Lead / Sales Manager. Partner with and meet the needs of customer merchandiser-sales management teams. Work in tandem with customer fresh coordinators to provide store support with order coaching, planogram (POG) integrity and support of special events (Grand Opening / Re-Openings, Store Standards Walks, etc.)
  • Ability to lead, direct and communicate key objectives to temp workers and/or floater field reps
  • Required to understand all levels of the Taylor Farms supply chain from the manufacturing origins to the Point-Of-Sale at customer level. Must be adept with the customer’s ordering platform and able to troubleshoot OOS (Out-Of-Stock) opportunities.
  •  Must be adept with utilizing the Taylor Farms Fresh App to capture store level data during store visits.
  • Day travel required along with approximately 25% overnight depending on customer and manufacturer needs.
  • Salaried position based on 45-to-50-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Weekends infrequent - dependent on customer or business needs; Occasional need for weekend phone and/ or email communication.

Job Specifications

  • Must possess a hands-on working knowledge of perishables (Deli & Produce) in the retail grocery environment.
  • Able to coach store teams regarding order behaviors at the retail level, including store management, department leads and associates.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OOSs. Identify root causes and coach for corrective action across all levels of the organization as needed (transportation, pick team errors and/or ordering behaviors)
  • Ability to identify planogram opportunities and initiate corrective action.
  • Assess product quality and product specifications in store.
  • Able to communicate observed quality issues back to plant teams.
  • Able to troubleshoot identify and communicate opportunities to the appropriate parties.
  • Utilize industry technology to monitor progress of store visits.
  • Understand data patterns in targeting customer and manufacturer needs.
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs.

Job Training

  • On-the-Job training to become familiar with all facets of Taylor Farms manufacturing, including raw procurement, production processes and expectations, QA functions, order picking processes, shipping and transportation, store level receiving best practices.
