Responsibilities of the Sales Representative:

  • Develops and maintains relationships with potential and existing clients in the cosmeticwholesale and manufacturing fields.
  • Identifies and locates new clients through a variety of methods including networking and cold calls.
  • Works with broker sales manager and reps to ensure products are presented an executed at both distributors and retailers
  • Applies knowledge of the field and product features to match products to the needs of clients.
  • Answers inquiries from clients concerning products, their uses, and the industry at large.
  • Ongoing communication of strategy, business plans, sales controllable, results, best practices and customer opportunities to Sr. Management, Customer marketing and to the Sales Team to enhance or develop strategies to meet or exceed company objectives
  • Periodically prepares and reports results, status of accounts, and leads to manager.
  • Utilize category knowledge, data driven insights, and sales expertise within the CPG market to create and develop a strategy for the annual sales forecast, in collaboration with related departments.
  • Lead long-range planning within the retail category as well as review meetings with customers, assisting with new brand-based initiatives.
  • Develop scorecards and tools which continuously drive sales decision-making to produce breakthrough results on the top and bottom line.
  • Direct responsibility for branded sales volume.
  • Collaborate with Sales team to develop account level distribution targets, sales volume quotas, and new products and line extension forecasts.
  • Work closely with the Marketing teams on execution strategies for new item launches and line extensions, as well as building successful solution selling tools for sales.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field required.
  • Thorough understanding of products to be sold.
  • Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated abilities in effective communication across all channels of the organization.
  • Love for everything beauty.
  • Ability to identify and aggressively develop new business opportunities and execute sales strategies for continued expansion of the brand.
  • High Level of Energy and excellent follow-up skills
