As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be responsible for developing solutions across the application stack, focusing on onboarding carriers, customers, and system integrations. This role offers a hybrid work schedule at first, then pivots to full remote.
This role offers high visibility, ownership, accountability, and the ability to collaborate closely with business stakeholders, 3rd party partners, and development teams.
Position Summary
- Design, develop, and support high-performing and scalable integrations using technologies such as C# .NET, focusing on microservice-driven architecture.
- Apply integration practices such as message routing, filtering, data enrichment (transformation/translation), batch processing, encoding, correlation, error handling, and reconciliation mechanisms to deliver required business functionality.
- Work closely with small team comprised of both full time and consulting resources.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, and business users to deliver integration solutions.
- Implement new customers & carriers as well as migrate existing EDI transactions from legacy systems to new processes built using a proprietary integration platform as a service (iPaaS).
- Act as in house owner of data integration solution, providing guidance, conducting code reviews, while also developing solutions.
- Create project-related documents such as technical specifications, process flow diagrams, and update stakeholders.
- Demonstrate the ability to execute projects independently and within a team setting to foster synergy and successful outcomes.
- Work closely with small integration and support team both onsite and remotely
Minimum Experience
- At least 5 years of experience in software development and/or building system integrations using C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework
- Exposure to Node, React, Typescript a plus
- A minimum of 4 years of experience working with relational & non-relational databases such as Azure SQL and Cosmos.
- Experience in developing code for different integrations such as real-time, file-based, async, ETL, and APIs.
- Must have strong experience with EDI conversions, ideally in logistics environment.
- Ability to develop pipelines from scratch preferred.
- Ability to develop multiple integrations from a reusable microservices-driven architecture.
- Microsoft Azure technologies: Azure Functions, API Management, Data Factory, Event Grid, Logic Apps, Service Bus.
- Experience with data standards and communication protocols: XML/XSLT/XSD, JSON, EDI.
- Experience with TMS or WMS a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
