Are you an FPGA specialist that is on the market for a new opportunity at a highly funded and expanding startup, working on cutting edge projects at the forefront of autonomous driving and AI as a whole?


At European Recruitment we are working alongside a widely successful Bosch, Continental and BMW backed startup with locations in the US and Europe to help them bring on board an FPGA Engineer for a long term contract engagement.


Responsibilities:


  • Design and implement FPGA-based prototypes to validate critical aspects of our planned hardware design.
  • Lead the architecture definition, RTL block level programming, synthesis, and timing closure of a high speed Xilinx FPGA design used in validation of multimodal AI inference acceleration connectivity.
  • Work with multi-functional teams (e.g. hardware, software, diagnostics and signal integrity engineers), and assist in complex subsystem level lab bring-up, integration, and unit test validation.


Qualifications:


  • BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields with 7+ years of experience years of proven, hands-on experience in FPGA prototyping.
  • Strong Verilog HDL programming skills, with experience targeting RTL designed for custom ASIC Development to a Xilinx FPGA.
  • Experience designing solutions that interface with Ethernet based protocols, PCIe, and optical transceivers, with knowledge of signal integrity and system bring-up
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX OS, device drivers, and scripting tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a passion for technology innovation within a collaborative engineering environment.
  • The candidate should be able to work independently and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
