ReFocus Eye Health is searching for a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis with 5 years of work experience to join our organization as we scale for current and future growth and carry out the overall finance mission. The ideal candidate will have a corporate finance background preferably in the healthcare space. An MBA is nice to have but not required. This position is full time at the Stamford, CT location - Hybrid. This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Candidates must live within 20 miles of Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities include:

  • Prepare monthly, annual and multi-year plans and forecasts for total and location P&Ls
  • Monthly financial statement flux analysis
  • Sufficient knowledge of accounting and financial reporting coupled with the ability to interact with business owners and management
  • Analyze financial trends and make recommendations relative to growth and cost savings
  • Manage and maintenance planning & reporting application
  • Drive reporting process improvements
  • Actual vs. Plan Reporting for Consolidated, Location & Physician P&Ls
  • Monthly payroll analysis and metrics

Qualifications:

  • 5 years public/corporate accounting work history preferably including experience in healthcare
  • BA/BS in Finance from an accredited college/university is required, a Master’s in Accounting or Finance is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of Intech accounting system a plus
  • Working knowledge financial models and modeling tools
  • Effective written, verbal and interpersonal skills along with the ability to thrive in unstructured, entrepreneurial type of environment
