Your priority will be to drive growth in the APAC Buildings market, delivering innovative and sustainable solutions to clients while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. You will be a visible leader both externally and internally, championing Ramboll's vision and values.Your key tasks and responsibilities will include:Leadership & Strategy: Instil purpose and set the direction for Ramboll's Buildings division in APAC, implementing and delivering the Ramboll Buildings and APAC Strategy. Lead and profitably grow the APAC Buildings Team (approx. 100 staff) through effective management, mentoring, and fostering a culture of innovation.Business Development & Growth: Take ownership of local business development plans, including key client strategies, sector planning, and BD budgets. Leverage your deep understanding of the APAC market and proven track record in business growth to identify new opportunities, drive sales strategies, and achieve financial targetsCollaboration & Stakeholder Management: Drive collaboration and synergies with global Buildings colleagues and other business areas (including Environment, Energy, Transport and Henning Larsen Architects). Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams, demonstrating cultural awareness and adaptability across diverse APAC markets.Technical & Project Leadership: Lead the development of new technical solutions and disciplines, ensuring projects meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards. Provide technical guidance and insight to your teams and clientsFinancial & Operational Oversight: Oversee financial management, budgeting, and forecasting for the Buildings division. Analyse financial reports to make informed, strategic decisions to support growthRepresentation & Advocacy: Represent Ramboll Buildings in trade and industry associations in APAC, acting as a thought leader and champion for sustainable building solutionsOrganizational Culture: Chair APAC Buildings leadership meetings, promote a culture of openness and inclusion, and foster professional development and mobility for colleagues across the regionAbout youEstablished network and in-depth insight into the APAC Buildings marketStrong leadership capabilities with experience managing large teams (at least 80-100 people) and operations efficientlyStrategic thinker with a proven track record in business growth and entrepreneurshipDeep technical expertise in engineering, architecture, and consultancy sectorsExperience in business development, sales strategies, and achieving financial targetsStrong cultural awareness and adaptability to work effectively across APAC marketsExcellent verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English is essential, and Malay and/or Mandarin are beneficialEffective at fostering collaboration and motivating colleagues with diverse skill sets and backgroundsSkilled in managing large-scale projects and multiple simultaneous prioritiesStrong financial acumen and problem-solving capabilitiesRelevant educational background, such as an advanced degree in engineering, business administration, or a related fieldResilience, persistence, and maturity to work within a large international matrix organization with 18,000 colleagues globally, including 4,500 in Global BuildingsWillingness to travel internationallyWhat we can offer youCommitment to your professional developmentLeaders guided by our Leadership PrinciplesA culture that welcomes and celebrates your unique perspectiveInspiration from colleagues, clients, and projectsThe long-term thinking and stability of a foundation-owned companyReady to join us?Please submit your application with your up-to-date CV.
