Role: I&E Technician

Position Description:
- Calibrates, programs, maintains and repairs I&E equipment at wells and facilities.
- Maintains and optimizes SCADA communications systems and programmable logic controllers.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and repairs control devices / communication equipment.
- Operate SCADA systems and evaluate new facilities for I&E technology application.
- Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains electrical, pneumatic, process controls and new equipment as projects dictate.
- Oversees and monitors Grounding/Breaker Installation, Terminations, Continuity checks, Instrument Installation, Loop checks, and System Function checks during Project installation.
- Responds to requests from I&E Supervisor to achieve maximum efficiency of all I&E systems.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of I&E experience
- 5+ years Oil and Gas experience.
- Experience with SCADA and programmable logic controllers.
- High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
- Knowledge and understanding of basic electrical systems.
- Technical certification preferred.
- Able to be on call nights and/or holidays
Position Details:
-Pay Rate: $55-66/hr depending on experience.
-Hitch: 5/2
-Location: Midland, TX
