Position Overview: As an On-Site Tech Support Agent, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive technical support to our on-site and remote users. You will be responsible for a range of tasks including physical modification, repair, reimaging of computers, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing support for printers and network devices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform physical modification and repair of computers, including hardware upgrades, component replacement, and system diagnostics.
  • Conduct re-imaging of computers to ensure optimal performance and security standards.
  • Provide Level 1 troubleshooting support for end users, addressing hardware and software issues promptly and effectively.
  • Offer Level 2 troubleshooting support for both on-site and remote users, investigating and resolving complex technical problems.
  • Deliver Level 1 support for printers, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of printing issues.
  • Provide basic network support, including troubleshooting connectivity issues, configuring network settings, and assisting with network-related queries.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in technical support roles, with a focus on hardware repair, reimaging, and troubleshooting.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware components, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with network protocols, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc., and basic network troubleshooting.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical information to non-technical users.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a dedication to delivering high-quality support services.

  • Ability to lift and move computer equipment and peripherals.
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional after-hours support and emergencies.
