Summary

The ideal candidate for this position will experience with grant management, awarding and administering grants, or other related instruments as well as experience with understanding grants related laws, policies and procedures and applying them to a grant portfolio.

Duties

What will I do in this position if hired?

In this position, you will serve as a Program Analyst for the Grants Program Division. Typical assignments include:

Serving as an experienced analyst who provides senior leadership with program evaluation results that are utilized in the resource management process for greater program effectiveness. Facilitating the programming, reprogramming, and efficient and effective use of funding, or other resources, which is appropriate to support major, substantive requirements. Preparing and securing program review authorities' approval for program plans, schedules, and resource requirements to adequately support the desired level of operations for assigned programs and to meet all established technical and management objectives that are mandated. Handling numerous issues, at times simultaneously, to ensure program goals and objectives are met.

All positions are subject to recall around the clock for emergency management operations, which may require irregular work hours, work at locations other than the official duty station, and may include duties other than those specified in the employee's official position description. Travel requirements in support of emergency operations may be extensive in nature (weeks to months), with little advance notice, and may require employees to relocate to emergency sites with physically austere and operationally challenging conditions.
