Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing a range of HR functions while collaborating closely with HR leadership and the management team at our Chicago Tech Center. You will be responsible for a diverse array of HR activities including recruitment benefits administration payroll employee relations performance management onboarding policy implementation and compliance with employment laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with our overall business goals.
- Act as an HR Business Partner to management ensuring HR programs support business objectives.
- Manage all aspects of Employee Relations including performance management and investigations.
- Guide employees through the MBO & Goal Setting Process.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Implement and oversee employee retention programs to foster a motivated and engaged workforce.
- Administer the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) effectively.
- Oversee new hire processes including orientation and integration activities.
- Support recruiting efforts and prehire activities.
- Ensure compliance with all HRrelated regulations and laws.
- Assist with compensation processes including annual merit increases.
- Lead and manage special HR projects as needed.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Strong understanding of Federal and State employment laws.
- 610 years of HR experience with managerial experience preferred.
- Industry experience is a plus.
- Proven experience in performance management HRIS maintenance recruiting and HR business partnering.
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
- Experience with Paycom is strongly preferred.
- Ability to thrive in a multicultural office environment.
- Midlevel Excel skills preferred.
