Who Are We: Literal is an engaging social reading tool for educators and students. Backed by VC and powered by an incredible community of users were really good at getting teens to spend more time in a book. While also giving teachers the AI tools needed to make their job faster easier and more enjoyable.
Whats the Role As the Sales Development Rep (SDR) You ll grow the business and by prospecting for upgrades among our massive list of active accounts. Youll help educate decision makers on why their teachers are all using Literal. And youll qualify and nurture leads throughout the entire sales process. Youll join a team paired with a closer and work together to keep leads warm and moving towards a solution that will solve some of their biggest problems. 70% of our outreach happens over the phone while 30% will happen over email.
Freedom & Flexibility: This is a fulltime 1099 role. Hours are wildly flexible as long as you get the job done. We all remote work 1 day a week but We are prioritizing hires that can join us in the office most of the week most of the time.
Compensation: Instead of the standard $45k for similar jobs Weve opted for a higher compensation of $60000 OTE (On Target Earnings or what you should make by hitting your basic goals). That includes a $30000 base pay. There is absolutely opportunity after 6 months & assuming were hiring to continue your career growth and move into other roles as interest permits such as a regional sales rep or territory manager or...
