Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.

We are looking for a Commercial Manager. In summary, the role will be to manage a Figure Customer, develop from the ground up a commercial program for that Customer, and then oversee and manage the execution of that commercial program.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationship with Customer from the Project Manager level up to the Company's Board of Directors
    • Includes daily informal communication as well as formal presentations to senior leadership
  • Negotiate and execute (with the assistance of legal counsel) commercial contracts
  • Design, negotiate and execute commercial program needs (includes the selection, development and diligence of use cases, program safety requirements, and deployment infrastructure needs such as network connectivity, maintenance programs, etc.).
  • Responsible for building the entire concept of operations for the robot at the Customer site (charging plan, how does the robot execute use case, human vs robot transition, etc.).
  • Must communicate and work with engineering and operations teams to coordinate implementation of this concept of operations and commercial program
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and program success
  • Occasional travel to customer site
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years in consulting or investment banking
  • Great communicator
  • Excellent judgment and execution in high pressure situations
  • Highly organized and ability to manage a project
  • Strong attention to detail, yet thoughtful about prioritization
  • Understands client management
  • Must have presentation skills
  • Project management of several employees
