BAS/BMS Service Specialist

This position is responsible for learning how to understand project/service requirements such as specifications, standards, schedules, and safety. Participates in project/service activities on site related to the coordination, installation, and commissioning of building automation and security management systems. This employee typically works under daily supervision of a Field Service Supervisor and reports to the Field Service Manager.
Responsibilities Include
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on installed customers to Control Systems
- Perform commissioning and startup of new to Control Systems to ensure proper operation
- Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair to HVAC Control Systems wiring, hardware and software
- Diagnose communication problems with control devices and other components
- Create, load, test, and tune system databases
- Install, replace and re-commission Control Systems devices, equipment and software
- Coordinate activities of subcontractors as required
- Provide on-site training to customers as needed
- Provides emergency and warranty service as required.
- Create and maintain test records and as-built documentation
- Conform to project site safety and housekeeping requirements
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
- Bachelors Degree in Computer, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or work related experience
- Experience HVAC Controls and understanding is a must
- Hands on experience with Mechanical eqiupment
- Experience with Programming Control's system such as Ecostructure, Tridium, Niagara, etc.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being programs, holidays & paid time off, military leave benefits, and more.
