Senior Clinician – Eating Disorders Stream

Exciting new opportunity to join Orygen Specialist Program Eating Disorders team Part Time ( Fixed term until August 2024 multidisciplinary role – OT3, SW3, P3 and RPN4 Based in Sunshine with satellite services covering Werribee and Melton

Your new team

Orygen Specialist Program provides mental health services to young people aged 15-25 and their families/carers in Melbourne's northwest and western suburbs.

Our Eating Disorders Stream provides evidence-based interventions to young people experiencing severe eating disorders, and may present with a range of co-morbid mental health issues.

About your new role:

Provide high-quality family-inclusive integrated consultations, based on clinical experience working with young people with eating disorders and other serious mental illness and substance use Provide support, supervision, and consultations to members of the multidisciplinary team, regarding evidence-based eating disorder practice principles and approaches Undertake mental health and risk assessment, formulation, psychological treatment, crisis intervention, systems support for the young person, family/carers and wider system

About You:

Comprehensive experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, including young people experiencing eating disorders Experience and expertise in providing acute mental health care management and/or eating disorder management Ability to develop, implement and evaluate client-centred individual service plans, risk assessments and diagnostic formulations Knowledge of the rationale and evidence for early intervention in mental illness
