Clinical Specialist - OCD and Anxiety

Ongoing part-time role | 6 days per fortnight  Based in Parkville| Grade 4 OT, SW, Psych, Grade 5 RPN Excellent opportunity for a senior clinician with operational and service development skills

Your new team

Orygen Specialist Programs (OSP), a program of the Royal Melbourne Hospital, provides specialist mental health services for young people aged 15 to 25 (soon to 12 to 25) and focuses on providing early intervention to young people with severe and complex mental illness.

Embedded in the Youth Mood Clinic (YMC), the emerging OCD and Anxiety team will partner with young people, families/carers and the Orygen workforce to provide evidence-based best practice identification, assessment and interventions.

Your new role

A multidisciplinary role open to Grade 5 Registered Mental Health Nurses and Grade 4 Occupation Therapists, Social Workers and Psychologists. In this role you will:

Strategise and develop a comprehensive service delivery model for interventions across OSP Participate in research expanding the evidence base regarding youth OCD and Anxiety disorders including innovative care trials and program evaluation Contribute to the development and maintenance of community partnerships with key external stakeholders, developing effective interfaces within OSP clinical streams and programs Provide mental health services to young people, including case management, psychological treatment, clinical intervention

About You:

Demonstrated experience is strategic management, developing partnerships with internal and external services, policy development and integration of research Experience as a senior clinical, coordinator or management role within public mental health  Comprehensive experience in clinical practice within the mental health field, including young people experiencing mental health disorders  Ability to develop, implement and evaluate client-centred individual service plans, risk assessments and diagnostic formulations
